a) Watch VIDEO #1 and VIDEO #2 at for a review of setup and tone.
b) Watch VIDEO #3 "Long Tones"-it starts on a high A, but start at YOUR highest comfortable note. Send me a recording (audio or video) of you playing some long tones using the same pattern as shown in the video. Just one minute of recording is fine. If you need a metronome and/or tuner you should be able to find something online for free to help.
c) Watch VIDEO #4 "How I fixed my student's high notes in 10 minutes" and choose a scale which you struggle with getting a high note. A major scale, a chromatic scale, whatever you like! It just has to have a note in it that is hard for you to play because it is high. Send me a recording (audio or video) of you playing the scale that is challenging for you. Just one minute of recording is fine.
